The Balzekas Museum of Lithuanian Culture _____ CMEG got an exclusive tour of beLonging: Lithuanian Artists in Chicago from 1900 to Now, from guest curator Vicki Matranga. With over 30 Lithuanian immigrant artists and 115 works on display, it was a rare opportunity to explore rich immigrant cultural heritage and artistic legacy first hand. |

Acme Design Studio _____ CMEG went behind the scenes to see a giant block of foam morph into a T.Rex skull. Try out a life-sized TARDIS. Aim an alien weapon from a video game and peek into Svengoolie's Coffin all while learning how these, and hundreds of other amazing models, props, and scenic elements, are designed and built by specialists using state-of-the-art tools alongside age-old techniques. |
